Tyler Cowen

Tyler Cowen is the Holbert L. Harris Chair of Economics at George Mason University and chairman and faculty director of the Mercatus Center. He founded Emergent Ventures, a fellowship and grant program supporting high-potential individuals and “zero to one” ideas that can meaningfully improve society. Cowen also coauthors the influential economics blog Marginal Revolution, cofounded Marginal Revolution University, and hosts the podcast Conversations with Tyler. A bestselling author and widely published economist, he has written nearly twenty books and has been a columnist for The New York Times, Bloomberg, and The Free Press.
