David Mawdsley

David is SVP of Corporate Affairs at GSK, the global biopharma company, where he leads government affairs and policy, media relations, digital communications, corporate responsibility, and brand and partnerships. He also sits on GSK's Financial Disclosure Committee and previously led its Global Investor Relations team. Before GSK, David worked in UK politics as head of economic research for the Conservative Party and Chief of Staff to Shadow Chancellor Michael Portillo. He was a Non-Executive Director at the UK Home Office from 2023 to 2025.
